Hear yourself the way other people do.
Mellifluo.us listens while you practice and shows you your pace, your pitch, and every “um” the moment it happens. Then it builds you a plan. Your voice never leaves the phone.
Most of us never get to hear ourselves clearly.
You speed up the second you get nervous, and you can’t feel it happening.
The “ums” and “likes” slip in. Everyone hears them but you.
You replay the meeting afterward, wishing you’d just slowed down.
A practice room that actually pays attention.
Live pace
Your words-per-minute, tracked as you talk, with feedback in under a tenth of a second.
Pitch & resonance
Fundamental-frequency tracking shows when your voice tightens up or flattens out.
Filler & rush alerts
The ums, the trail-offs, the sprint to the end of a sentence — surfaced gently, never scolding.
Plans from your sessions
Each practice turns into a short, specific plan built from what you actually did.
Delayed feedback
A therapeutic delayed-auditory-feedback track for cluttering, a speech pattern that affects roughly 1 in 100 people.
100% on your phone
Every bit of analysis runs on-device. No recording is uploaded. No transcript is stored anywhere.
Three steps. That’s the whole loop.
Talk
Read a passage, rehearse a toast, or think out loud. The app listens through your mic while you go.
See
Pace, pitch, and filler words show up live as you speak — not a grade, just a clear mirror.
Practice
Each session becomes a short plan for the next one, so it gets a little easier every time.
Your voice is the most personal data there is. It stays yours.
Capture, analysis, coaching: the whole pipeline runs inside the app on your phone. There’s no recording to leak and no transcript sitting on a server. You can practice the most vulnerable thing you’ll say all week and know it never left your hand.
Anyone who’s ever cringed at a recording.
People prepping for a talk, a pitch, or an interview. Folks working on cluttering or fluency who want to practice between sessions. Anyone who has heard themselves played back and thought, “I want to fix that.”
The short answers.
Is my voice actually private?
Yes. The analysis runs inside the app on your phone. Nothing is recorded to a server and no transcript is stored in someone else’s cloud. That’s the whole design, not a setting you have to find.
Do I need a speech therapist to use it?
No. Mellifluo.us is a practice tool, not a diagnosis. It works well on its own, and it works well alongside a clinician if you have one.
What is “cluttering”?
It’s a fluency pattern where speech comes out fast and irregular, so it’s hard to follow. The delayed-auditory-feedback track is built specifically to help with it.
When can I try it?
