Telegone
Review and clear old Telegram messages in a dedicated Mac app, choosing the scope and confirming what goes before cleanup begins.
Made for
For Telegram users who want to reduce an old message footprint without treating every conversation or photo as something to erase. The useful decision is often what to keep.
Item-level review
A visible selection gives you room to preserve particular messages and photos instead of making an all-or-nothing decision about the conversation.
Start here
Begin with a conversation and filters such as age or media. Narrow the review to the part of your history that matters to this cleanup.
Telegone is available for macOS 12 or later, on Intel and Apple silicon. Download the Mac app from the official site to review for free; cleanup requires a license. Read the current getting-started guidance at telegone.app before deleting messages.

How it works and what’s inside
Made for
For Telegram users who want to reduce an old message footprint without treating every conversation or photo as something to erase. The useful decision is often what to keep.
A message history can outlast the moment it belonged to. Telegone is a dedicated Mac app for reviewing and clearing old Telegram messages, with a deliberate path from choosing a scope to confirming the work you actually want done.
How it works
Workflow
Find the right scope
Begin with a conversation and filters such as age or media. Narrow the review to the part of your history that matters to this cleanup.
Choose what stays
Review the matching items and uncheck anything you want to keep. The selection becomes a concrete plan rather than an open-ended instruction to delete.
Confirm deliberately
Review the confirmation before the cleanup begins. Take one last look at the selected scope before committing to the cleanup.
Inside Telegone
Features
Item-level review
A visible selection gives you room to preserve particular messages and photos instead of making an all-or-nothing decision about the conversation.
A bounded cleanup plan
The application direction fixes the selected message IDs for the operation, keeping the intended work tied to the review you made.
Backup and recovery thinking
The source includes optional local backup, recovery progress, and receipts, treating a potentially irreversible operation as more than a disappearing progress bar.
Telegone is available for macOS 12 or later, on Intel and Apple silicon. Download the Mac app from the official site to review for free; cleanup requires a license. Read the current getting-started guidance at telegone.app before deleting messages.
